WINNP Privacy Policy | What win-np.com Collects and Why

WINNP keeps this short because win-np.com collects very little. You can read every WINNP page without an account, without signing up and without giving us your name. This WINNP privacy policy explains the small amount of data that does pass through the site, who handles it, and what you can ask WINNP to do about it.
1. Who runs win-np.com
win-np.com is the official hub of WINNP, Nepal’s official platform network. It lists the partner platforms in the WINNP Platform Network, their official channels and their official links. WINNP is responsible for the data handled on win-np.com.

2. What WINNP does not collect
win-np.com has no player accounts, takes no payments and holds no balances. Registration, deposits, games and withdrawals happen on each partner platform, under that platform’s own terms and privacy policy. WINNP does not see your platform login, your deposits or your withdrawals.
3. What is recorded when you visit
Server logs
Like almost every website, the win-np.com server records basic request details: your IP address, the page requested, the time, and your browser’s user agent. These logs are used to keep the site running and to investigate attacks. They are rotated daily and deleted after 14 days.
Security firewall
win-np.com is protected by a security firewall that blocks attacks before they reach the site. To do that it checks the IP address of each request and keeps a short record of the requests it blocks. Those records are cleared automatically.
Delivery and security network
win-np.com is delivered through a content delivery and security network, which processes your IP address and request details to deliver pages quickly and protect the site from abuse. It may set a short-lived security cookie to tell real visitors apart from bots.
4. Comments on WINNP News
If comments are open on a news post and you leave one, the site stores the name, email address and website you enter, your comment, your IP address and your browser user agent, to help detect spam. Your email address is never shown publicly.
An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be sent to the Gravatar service to check whether you have a profile picture there. If you do, it is shown next to your comment.
5. Cookies
WINNP does not use advertising cookies, and win-np.com does not currently run any analytics service. The cookies that can be set are:
- Comment cookies, only if you leave a comment and choose to save your details for next time.
- The short-lived security cookie described above.
- Login cookies, used only by WINNP staff who sign in to edit the site.
If WINNP ever adds an analytics service, this WINNP privacy policy will be updated first, with the date at the top moved forward.
6. Links to partner platforms and Telegram
Links on win-np.com lead to partner platforms and to Telegram, including the WINNP folder on Telegram. Once you follow a link, you are on a site or app run by someone else, and their privacy policy applies, not this one.
7. Who WINNP shares data with
WINNP does not sell personal data. The only services that handle visitor data for win-np.com are the ones described on this page: the hosting server, the delivery and security network, the security firewall and, for comment avatars, Gravatar. If you message the WINNP admin on Telegram, Telegram’s own privacy policy applies to that conversation.
8. Your rights under the WINNP privacy policy
You can ask WINNP to tell you what data it holds about you, to correct it, or to delete it. In practice this means comments you have left, since WINNP holds no accounts. Send your request to the official WINNP admin on Telegram, listed in section 1, or through the Contact WINNP page.
9. 18+ only
WINNP and every platform in the network are for people aged 18 and over, as set out in WINNP Play Smart. win-np.com is not meant for anyone under 18, and WINNP does not knowingly collect data from them.
10. Changes to this WINNP privacy policy
When the WINNP privacy policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
